World of Color — set a noon alarm right now
Two showings tonight: 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM. You MUST grab the virtual queue at exactly 12:00 PM or you will get a bad spot. Set an alarm for 11:58 AM. Have all 7 tickets linked to one account before you enter the park. The 10:15 PM showing is a clean backup if 9 PM conflicts with fireworks.
How Multi Pass works — simple version
You can only hold one ride at a time. Book a ride, tap in, then immediately book the next one before you even walk off. Never leave a ride without booking the next one. You can also rebook 2 hours after your last booking if you have not tapped in yet.
The cycling system — 7 adults
For height-restricted rides, 2 adults stay with the 3 kids while the other 5 ride together. When the first group exits, the 2 waiting adults tap in immediately for their turn at no extra wait. For rides with no height requirement (Rise, Haunted Mansion, Small World), all 7 adults and all 3 kids go together.

Pivot to Incredicoaster or Soarin’ and rebook Guardians for later. Keep the chain moving — do not wait around for a ride to come back up.
If the kids need a break
Disney Jr. Live on Stage and Frozen Live at the Hyperion are both indoor, air-conditioned, and low-stimulation. Good reset zones while others use a LL window nearby.
Key Disneyland warnings
Park Hopper does not activate until 11:00 AM — you cannot enter Disneyland before then on a hopper ticket. Check your Rise of the Resistance Single Pass time in the app before hopping over. Show up 5 minutes early or the slot is forfeited.
Keep stacking Multi Pass
Rides 4 through 7 are all in Disneyland. Book each one the moment you tap into the previous ride. By the time you finish Soarin’ at DCA, book Indiana Jones. Work the chain all afternoon and you finish with time before the night shows.

If Rise of the Resistance breaks down
Do not panic. Your Single Pass usually converts into a recovery window. Continue the afternoon plan and return when the ride comes back. Check the app for status updates.
If Fantasyland lines explode
Do not burn prime afternoon time in long Fantasyland standby lines. Return after 10 PM when waits drop significantly. Peter Pan, Small World, and Dumbo all get short lines after fireworks.
If everyone gets tired
Protect the highest-value items: Paint the Night, World of Color, and one final ride. Cut secondary rides first. It’s a Small World and Haunted Mansion are zero-wait family rides that work perfectly as low-energy fillers.

Both start at 8:45 PM in different parts of the park. Paint the Night is on Main Street. Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga is in Galaxy’s Edge. Pick one for the first showing. Second showings: Paint the Night at 10:45 PM, Shadows of Memory at 10:15 PM.

After 10 PM, standby waits drop to almost nothing. Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, and Haunted Mansion all get short lines after fireworks. If the adults have energy and kids are asleep in strollers, this is the best window for bonus rides with no LL needed.
Leave by 11:30 PM
Park closes at midnight and everyone exits at once. Parking backs up fast. Leaving 30 minutes early saves significant time in the lot. If anyone is carrying sleeping kids, earlier is better.
