Your ticket already covers Multi Pass
You have a 1-Day Tier 5 Park Hopper with Lightning Lane Multi Pass included. All 7 rides in the chain below are already paid for. The only extra cost is the Rise of the Resistance Single Pass (~$15–35 per person, 3 adults only).
World of Color — set a noon alarm right now
You confirmed you can attend at 9 PM even with Grad Nite. You MUST grab the virtual queue at exactly 12:00 PM through the Disneyland app or you'll get a bad spot. Set an alarm for 11:58 AM. Have all tickets linked to one account before you enter the park. Note: doing World of Color means missing Wondrous Journeys fireworks at the castle — both happen at the same time.
How Multi Pass works — simple version
You can only hold one ride at a time. Book a ride, tap in, then immediately book the next one before you even walk off. Never leave a ride without booking the next one. You can also book again 2 hours after your last booking if you haven't tapped in yet.
The cycling system
For rides with height limits, 1 adult stays with all 3 babies while the other 3 ride. Rotate A → B → C → D so everyone watches once before the cycle repeats. For rides with no height requirement, all 4 adults and all 3 babies go together. Rise of the Resistance has no height limit — everyone rides as one group.

DCA nighttime return strategy (~8:30 PM-9:25 PM)
You'll return to DCA later tonight for World of Color after spending the afternoon in Disneyland. Although DCA officially closes to regular guests at 9 PM for Grad Nite, World of Color remains accessible for guests with virtual queue access. After the show ends around 9:25 PM, head back into Disneyland for the final stretch of the night.
12:00 PM — World of Color virtual queue
Set an alarm for 11:58 AM. Open the Disneyland app at noon exactly and join the World of Color virtual queue for all 7 people. Have all tickets linked in one account before you walk into the park. Do not be on a ride at noon — have someone ready with the app open.
7:45 AMArrive and queue at DCA gates
Both parks open at 8 AM. Be at the DCA gate by 7:45. Two people need to be ready the second you're inside — one books Guardians LL, one buys the Rise of the Resistance Single Pass. Split the task before you walk through the gate.
8:00 AMDo two things the moment you walk in
Person 1: Book LL #1 for Guardians of the Galaxy. Person 2: Buy the Rise of the Resistance Single Pass — you can buy it now even though you're in DCA. Then everyone walks fast to Guardians. The standby line is the shortest it will be all day right now.
